MICROLIQUOR SPIRIT: PACKAGE DESIGN WINNER
Oma’s Cherry Infused Vodka is an award-winning family recipe (and now an award-winning packaging design) passed down generations through grandma, Oma, who immigrated from Germany after WWII. Unlike many of its vodka competitors flavored with artificial ingredients, Oma’s is unique in that only real Michigan Montmorency cherries are used for flavoring the product (over 100 cherries infused in a bottle!).
Inspired by Oma's resilient sprit, her recipe's quality ingredients and its homemade origin, I conceptualized the package design to incorporate large lush hand-illustrated cherries wrapping around a clear flip-top bottle.
To ensure brand consistency, I then crafted the brand guidelines, brand identity, campaign collateral, brochures, annual report, point of sale materials and advertisements delivering the complete Oma's brand and packaging suite.
Oma's launched with great success, securing growing store presence across the U.S. from neighborhood bodegas to big-box retailers including Walmart, and generating possibilities for extending the product line to additional flavors.
